Good Shepherd Children & Family Services provides the highest quality foster care and treatment foster care, adoption, expectant parent counseling, maternity shelter, pregnancy services and advocacy. In response to the call of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, to help those in need, we connect children with families and keep families connected.
Good Shepherd has been helping children and families for nearly 200 years. Good Shepherd was created through the merger of four Catholic Charities Federation children’s agencies: Father Dunne’s Newsboys’ Home, Marian Hall, Villa Maria, and St. Joseph’s Home and Family Support Services. The goal of Good Shepherd is to serve at-risk children who are poor, abandoned, abused, and neglected; troubled families facing crisis pregnancy; and families seeking to adopt throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area and surrounding counties.
