I think I’ve discovered the root to a lot of my worry: a lack of trust.
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.” Jeremiah 17:7
I am confident that God created the world, that He loves me and that I will see Him face to face one day. But I still worry. Why? Because I have room to grow in the trust department. When my confidence is in Him and not in myself or outcomes, then my trust is well placed. And I will worry less. Plus, this verse says that we are blessed when we trust as well. Perhaps the blessing looks like peace and joy. I want more of that too! So, God, I will trust you and place my confidence in you alone! – Sandi
