I have 3 kids. Three amazing, imperfect kids. Some of my most treasured memories of them are the times when they’ve confessed to something they knew was wrong. Why are those special memories? Because it reveals their heart and my heart. They trusted me and my love enough to tell me something they knew would be disappointing.
“God’s kindness leads you toward repentance.” Romans 2:4
Do you know God’s heart for you? He loved you first…..in your mess and mistakes. He gave His perfect love to cover our imperfect lives. The kind of love that compels us to confess and draw close to Him. If you’re holding something back from God, maybe even your life, trust His love for you. Share your heart and your mistakes. You will find Him to be kind, forgiving, and faithful.
