On the worst night of His life, Jesus prayed. What was on His mind and heart? You. Me.
And a world that needs to know Him. Here are a few of His words:
“…that they may have the full measure of my joy within them…Protect them from the evil one…May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and loved them…” John 17
Jesus prayed for us. That we would embrace His joy, protection and unity. That is how the world sees evidence of God’s love. We can’t do it in our strength. But when the Holy Spirit takes lead in our lives, Jesus’ prayer is answered. And our joy is complete. May God’s love flow through us today, in Jesus’ name. – Sandi
