Interruptions. I don’t like them any more than you do. And if I’m being honest, I don’t like it when God interrupts my plans either.
“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you…” Matthew 6:33
I’ve heard a lot of people focus on all the good things we expect God to give to us when they read this verse. But let’s not miss the point. We’re called to seek and surrender to Him first. His call to righteousness, even when we don’t like it or it is difficult. His way. His plan. Even when it bumps up against or interrupts our well-intended ones. God, interrupt us as you choose today.
