Position Summary The Drive Time Host & Content Creator will play a key role in launching a brand-new worship music station designed to reach the next generation in St. Louis. This role combines daily on-air hosting with digital content creation to build spiritual connection, emotional impact, and authentic community both on FM radio and across digital platforms. Core Responsibilities On-Air Show & Prep
    • Host a daily drive-time worship music show that is spiritually encouraging, real, and relevant.
    • Share faith naturally and confidently in a way that resonates with real life.
    • Deliver content that draws listeners into deeper connection with God.
    • Create audience-focused conversations that reflect the station’s mission and heart.
    • Develop daily show prep with both FM and digital extensions in mind.
    • Collaborate with production, music, and social teams to create a seamless multi-platform experience.
    Digital Content & Audience Engagement
    • Extend the voice of the show across social media, podcasts, blogs, and video platforms.
    • Plan and produce original content, including reels, video clips, behind-the-scenes footage, podcast episodes, and more.
    • Engage with listeners on-air and online in meaningful, ministry-minded ways (comments, DMs, prayer requests, etc.).
    • Repurpose and adapt show content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, podcast platforms, etc.
    • Collaborate across departments (digital, video, donor, marketing) to align with broader ministry goals.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Radio experience preferred (PPM market experience is a plus).
    • Proven ability to connect with an audience both on-air and online.
    • Strong writing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with Adobe Audition, or similar editing tools.
    • Skilled in creating engaging video, podcast, and/or blog content (preferred)
    • Confident hosting or contributing to video content.
    • Strong passion for digital platforms and how to craft content for each.
    Spiritual & Personal Expectations
    • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ; spiritually grounded and Biblically literate.
    • Active involvement in a local, Bible-believing church.
    • Comfortable sharing faith on-air and off, including praying with listeners and coworkers.
    • Passion for using media to encourage, disciple, and share the Gospel.

  • Assistant Program Director & Music Director for new worship format in St. Louis

    This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly position reporting to the Program Director.

    Responsibilities
    • APD
      • Foster a healthy, collaborative culture among Air Talents
        • Coordinate Monthly jock gatherings, with themes/topics that endear the team to each other and the vision for station
        • Weekly check-ins with each Weekday station DJ
        • Monthly check-ins with each Weekend station DJ
        • Ensure each Full Time DJ’s off-air time and duties are meeting expectations
      •  Coordinate Air Talent scheduling:
        • Weekend shows
        • Vacation and holiday coverage
        • Last-minute fill-in needs
      • Coordinate and assist with talent coaching:
        • Work with PD on scheduling and coaching priorities
      • Represent Programming dept. in various meetings, as needed (promotions, marketing, production, industry, brainstorming, etc.)
      • Protect the station brand: be a second set of eyes and ears on the signal, website, social media, and public appearances.
      • Misc. help in imaging, production, writing, promotions, social media, etc.
    2. MUSIC DIRECTOR
    • Craft quality music logs:
      • Library maintenance, music research integration/review
      • Coordinate with production/imaging for scheduling and placement of non-music elements.
      • Misc. related duties under direction of PD (clock creation, reports, rules adjustments, etc)
    • Execute research efforts:
      • Regular song survey online music research
      • Perceptual questions
    • New music/library maintenance:
      • Screen/prioritize all songs submitted through official industry channels and representatives.
      • Interact with artist and label reps to provide feedback and guidance
      • Execute regular music meetings
      • Load new music into Wide Orbit
      • Respond to all local/independent music submissions
      • Stay current on important outside metrics: local and national streaming/consumption stats, like-minded stations, format trends, industry trends, listener trends, etc.
      • Keep all Air Talent informed on new adds, relevant library developments, etc.
    Secondary Responsibilities:
    1. Occasional production/voiceover help
    2. Weekly voice track shift on worship station (first fill-in for either drive time host as well)
    3. Proactive self-education on industry & audience trends
    4. Attendance of weekly staff meeting, and other station or department gatherings as needed
    5. Serve the industry when allowed by senior management, via CMB, GMA, various trade organizations
    6. Special projects and various tasks as assigned or as needed
