Hope wins.

Hope wins.

We may not choose it, but we all experience suffering. What do you do when life feels unfair? When the suffering gets too painful to bear?

“God may kill me, but still I will trust him.” Job 13:15

Job lost everything. Including his children. Why? He was a good man. He was faithful to God. I wonder if Job ever felt like God wasn’t fair or faithful to him in return?

What is your “suffering default?” Mine is to get angry and sad. But even in your doubting, angry, and sad moments, you have someone to turn to. Hope is available. Because God is close.

Job seemingly lost everything. Except hope. Because His hope was placed in God alone. The source of all comfort and peace, even when this life falls apart. May you trust God today, even through your suffering. Hope wins. – Sandi
