More times than I can count. God gently brings me back. And I am in awe of how an all-powerful, perfect God can be so patient and kind.
“God’s kindness leads you toward repentance.” Romans 2:4
Even when God is correcting my course, challenging my selfishness, or revealing my sin, He is kind. His heart is consistent. He is patient and wants the best for us. If you have put up a wall between you and God because you’re afraid of His response, remember His nature and His kindness. Trust Him with the worst parts of yourself. Surrender it all and you will be amazed at the grace and forgiveness you find. His kindness will draw you in again and again. Perfect, patient, loving kindness.
