We are a hospice company in need of volunteers in many areas. Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team. They are companions to prevent those at end of life from being isolated. Our patients families/caregivers depend on volunteers to sit with their loved one to provide respite for them to get much needed daily errands accomplished. Volunteers can be at the bedside to read, play music, or just provide a hand to hold and a listening ear. We are also a part of “We Honor Veterans” program through NHPCO. This program is especially important for our veteran patients. Veteran volunteers are paired with veteran patients at the end of life where they can share those military stories both good and bad. We also need office/administration volunteers to assist with tasks in the office. As a volunteer you will be fully trained to be equipped with the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed as a hospice volunteer.
