Have you ever read scripture and felt like you were on the “outside looking in?” Like the promise is for everyone else but you? I have too.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
It isn’t that I don’t believe the truth of this verse. It is simply that I don’t always look or act like a new creation. Some bad habits and thoughts continue to creep in. But here’s the truth: God is still creating and recreating you. He looked at His incomplete creation on days 1-5 and said it was good. As a child of God, He isn’t finished with you yet either. Hold on to the promise that He is making you new! – Sandi
