I’ll admit it. I cried through the entire offering! We were visiting a church in Guatemala when it came time to walk to the front of the church to place your offering in a large basket. I noticed that some put money in while many others went through the gesture of putting money in, but they didn’t actually put anything in the basket. I thought to myself, “Surely they know God can see what their doing!” My friend whispered in my ear, “Sandi, they literally have nothing to give, but they want to give an offering anyway, so they’re giving themselves.”

You have something valuable to offer God today. When you surrender everything to Him, He notices and He is pleased. May we be eager to give Him an offering today. – Sandi
