Everything You Need for
the New “Normal”
What happened to normal?! We hope in this time, when nothing feels normal, that JOY FM is a safe, familiar, peaceful place to you. Here is our challenge. Keep doing normal. Even when life isn’t.
What does that look like? Smile! Share some JOY! Especially with your kids and families. Seeing you at peace and smiling could really help them navigate through this potentially scary time.
We also encourage you to be soaking yourself in prayer. If you would like a Pray with JOY wristband as a reminder to pray, we’d be happy to mail one to you for free!
And finally, keep supporting your churches and ministries that rely on you. Even though you may be unable to physically go to church for a time, keep tithing and giving your offerings. Not only will God honor that, but it will allow your church to be even more effective in meeting needs.
Let’s keep doing normal even when life isn’t, trusting God.
We want to be a helpful resource to you as we walk through this potentially scary time. Below you’ll find information like symptoms to look out for, how to keep your family safe, and things to do to bring JOY to our homes.
Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

Keep Your Family Safe
The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Finding JOY in Self-Quarantine
Whether you are a mom with kids who are no longer in school or a young single man who feels alone and isolated in his house, this new normal can cause us to be a little stir crazy. We understand the importance of social distancing so here is a handful of ideas to do with the family while keeping your distance!
