God already knows what your tomorrow looks like. He knows if the road ahead is smooth or bumpy. And spoiler alert: There are more bumps ahead. We live in a broken world.
Jesus was trying to prepare His disciples for the bumpy road ahead (Jesus death) and this is what He said:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” John 14:1
Jesus knew the cross was coming. But He also knew the resurrection was too. He knows your bumps as well. And I think He is saying the same to us: You can trust me. It is going to feel and look pretty bad. But I know fully what is ahead and you can trust me. Remind your troubled heart today that Jesus rose from the dead. You can trust Him! – Sandi
