Fear Is A Liar

Fear Is A Liar

Have you noticed that fear always has an answer?   One of my kids is late getting home and the first thought I have is rooted in fear.  I don’t feel well for a few days and fear steps in.  It is illogical.  It is persistent.  It creeps into our minds without warning.  And then it attempts to take over, answering every question in our minds.

“You did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave to fear, but you received the Spirit of Sonship.” Romans 8:15

Fear has a voice.  We know it well.  But fear doesn’t have to be an invited guest.  Remind fear that you are a child of God and that there is no room in your mind and heart for fear.  It has been replaced by confidence in your Father. He is the answer. – Sandi
