Peace doesn’t just happen. It is a byproduct of peace makers.
“Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” James 3:18
Our world is full of division and hate. We throw verbal bombs at each other and feel good about the “stand” we’re taking. Jesus modeled a better way and calls us to do the same. Sow peace. Speak less. When you do speak, do so with truth and love. Be slow to become angry. Model love. Serve. Honor others above ourselves.
When you do, you are sowing seeds of peace. The harvest is a life that will both honor God and draw others to Him. Peace makers choose to respond with wisdom and a heart that brings people together…and to Jesus. May we make peace today. – Sandi
