At JOY FM, we are passionate about praying for the needs of our listening family. Prayer is an important part of "Helping You Live the Life." This is why we want to partner with you in prayer. We encouarge you to submit your own prayer requests or pray for the current prayer requests of other listeners. Galatians 6:2 states, "Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." It gives us great JOY and we are continually amazed at how God answers prayers!

Carol

Carol is my father in law. He has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. There is no known cure for this cancer and the treatments could also kill him. I am asking for all of your prays for a miracle from our Lord God that when they go to do the test that it will be gone and it won't be in his blood any more. Also, my father Charly is also dying from cancer and I ask for prayer for him and his wife and my family. I just ask for healing for Carol and that the Lord will end my fathers suffering. Thank you

Tonya

Tonya has a cancer tumor in her brain which has started growing. She is a Christian and a mother of 4. Please pray for remittance or mabe that God may simply extend his healing touch to her and let her be a example of his miraculous ability. PRAISE GOD!!

My husband and myself

I was saved last year at my church. I have been attending church my entire life and my husband had never been until we started dating. He told me he was saved last year at a church event. The things he does and says now makes me think he didn't know what being saved is all about. I am trying to be the best Christian that I know how to be, but I am struggling because he has fallen away. His job keeps him from attending on Sundays and I believe he needs prayer to help him want to be better for himself and our son. I also need prayer to be a stronger person for myself and my faith, but also to help lead him to where he needs to be.

Curtis

Curtis had ADHD and it seems he has an evil spirit because he tried to stab his step dad and he tries to hurt himself. Curtis is nine years old and needs a lot of prayer. I would like also for you to pray for my girls who are not saved, Darla 20, Amanda 18 (smokes pot), and Sarah 12.

Angela

Angela was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Her 4 year old daughter, Kaylin, has kidney damage - upcoming tests will show if she has to be added to the donor list.

My Husband and our family

Here is another update on the situation with the job that my husband and our family have been waiting to hear about – basically we are still waiting. We have had some good news but nothing has happened just yet. We are hoping that we will learn something by the end of this month. I just wanted to email to ask that you continue to pray for the situation and for us. I have found that I have become very discouraged lately. I want to see my husband succeed in his career and feel good about providing for his family. And the desire of my heart is to be at home full time to take care of my family; to provide a haven of love and peace in a world that is sometimes so cruel. Just pray that I will keep my focus and not allow the discouragement to bring me down so far that I can’t do what I need to do now. I am getting in the rut of not wanting to do anything because I am overwhelmed with everything. I have a health issue that requires me to eat well and get enough rest – I am sorry to say that is not happening at this time. I don’t want to get stuck in the pit of despair. I have been there before many times and it never gets any easier trying to get out of it. Please join with me and my family has we pray for God’s will and his guidance. Thank you all so much. It is so wonderful to know that I have family that I have never met before going before our Father on my behalf. Being a Christian is really pretty awesome.

Please pray for my boss' 5 year old niece. She has an inoperable tumor behind her eye and will be starting cemo this Friday for treatment.

Grandson's Brandon & Mitchell

Please pray for my grandson's. They are leaving Fri. July 18th for two weeks in Sweden. They'll be staying with a family from there. Safety in traveling, that they will be a light in the darkness, and be impacted by God while there. Also God's protective hand on them through the whole time. Thank you.
